Studio 58 students learn all components of theatre production
From acting to designing and sewing their own costumes, Langara's theatre students do it all

The students in Langara’s acting and production programs participate in all aspects of the production no matter what program they’re in. They work under the guidance of industry professionals to bring their productions to life through things like costumes, sets and lighting.
The theatre students are assisted by costume designers Mel Zaini and Amber Smith to create costumes for their November production of Romeo and Juliet.
Studio 58’s Romeo and Juliet ran from November 20th-30th, 2025. This was the second of four productions in their 2025/26 season.

Currently, Studio 58 is working on production for Something Rotten!, a comedy musical set in Shakespearean times. This production is their last of the season and will run from March 26 to April 19, 2026. Tickets are available on Studio 58’s website.
