    DTES business owners and residents met last night to discuss safety measures following a recent wave of stolen sandwich boards and smashed windows.     Langara College held its fourth annual charity fashion show last night, transforming the upper level of the library into a swanky boutique and runway. The event, organized by the Special Events Planning and Marketing class and the Langara Business Association (LBA), donated all proceeds to the Battered Women’s Support Services (BWSS).
